Peacemakers to Gather for Breakfasts at ABC, CBF National Gatherings

BPFNA will host "Peace Breakfasts" at this year's meetings of the American Baptist Churches (ABC) and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF).

The BPFNA Peace Breakfast at the 2009 ABC Biennial in Pasadena, CA is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, at 7:00 a.m. Speakers include this year's Dahlberg Peace Award recipient, Tom Adams, and Andover Newton Theological School president Nick Carter. Singer-songwriter Mike Stern will lead music. Attendees wishing to attend the Peace Breakfast should sign up in advance on the ABC Biennial registration form.

The Peace Breakfast at this year's CBF General Assembly in Houston, TX will be Friday, July 3, at 7:00 a.m. Our guest speaker will be author and theologian Eileen Campbell-Reed, recent recipient of the Betty Galloway Advocacy for Women in Ministry Award from the Tennessee CBF. BPFNA Networking/Development Coordinator Bob Spinks will talk about BPFNA's current projects and future plans, and Johnny Almond will lead us in song.
