(RALEIGH, N.C.) — The BPFNA Board of Directors is having its regular May meeting at historic Pullen Memorial Baptist Church
, a BPFNA Partner Congregation in Raleigh, N.C.
Three times each year, the board members meet to handle necessary business of the organization, and also to share concerns from BPFNA's four member nations and around the world. These gatherings also provide meeting time for the committees that guide the various areas of BPFNA's programmatic and administrative work. This evening, the board will have dinner with members of the Pullen congregation and others in the community who are involved in efforts toward peace and social justice.
The meeting began with dinner on Thursday, May 12, and will conclude on the afternoon of Saturday, May 14. BPFNA is especially grateful to the congregation and staff of Pullen Church and Jonathan Sledge (member of Pullen Church and the BPFNA board) for their hospitality. Several groups and individuals within the church have provided meals and housing for board and staff, and their contribution is deeply appreciated.
