The following is a press release from Passport Inc., a partner of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
(BIRMINGHAM, Ala.) – As the holiday weekend approaches honoring the life of DR. Martin Luther King Jr, many are looking for a faithful response in an unsettled world, Passport Media is offering a free resource to churches and student ministers.
Written by Christine Powell Kellett, Dream. Believe. Do. is a one-lesson Bible study that helps high school students connect the teaching of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to the scripture that informed his thoughts and actions. This lesson concludes with time for youth to reflect and identify specific ways they can take faith-based actions to respond to the issues around them today.
The free lesson can be downloaded here and is a perfect resource for youth workers looking for a tie-in to MLK weekend, Black History month, a conversation connector to the new movie Selma, or any time a relevant single-lesson is needed.
