Bob Spinks is a veteran financial development officer who joined BPFNA in September, 2007, as the organization's first Networking/Development Coordinator. In this role, he is part of leadership team that includes Program Coordinator LeDayne McLeese Polaski and Operations Coordinator Evelyn Hanneman.

Spinks has more than 30 years of development experience in a variety of Baptist colleges and seminaries, most recently as Special Assistant to the President and Director of Major Gifts at Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (Virginia). Among other positions, he previously served as Assistant to the President for Financial Development at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and was the founding Director of Development at the Wake Forest University Divinity School.

A Charlotte, NC native, Spinks is a graduate of Furman University and holds masters degrees from both New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and The University of Iowa. He and his wife have a grown daughter.

At the BPFNA, Spinks is responsible for fund raising and development, as well as expanding the organization's working partnerships with compatible groups across the continent.
