A close friend and lieutenant of Dr. Martin Luther King , Jr., Dr. Vivian has spent a lifetime working for human rights. He is a member of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, the founder of the Black Action Strategies and Information Center, a workplace consultancy on race relations and multicultural training, and a member of the board of directors of Every Church A Peace Church.
