Renowned computer scientist David L. Parnas is my PeaceBuilder. Reading Parnas’ paper published in the December 1985, issue of the computer journal Communications of ACM changed my life. I took on the call of Jesus to make a difference and not sit back and just let the world happen. The first assignment that I accepted was, like Parnas, to speak out against the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI).
