send Johnny an emailBiographyJohnny Almond is a life-long resident of North Carolina, originally from Mount Gilead. His background includes work in broadcasting and several years of office management and technical support in North Carolina's Guardian ad Litem Program. As Communications Director at the Baptist Peace Fellowship, Johnny handles a variety of tasks, including oversight of the BPFNA website.
In addition to his work at the Baptist Peace Fellowship, Johnny is Minister of Music at First Baptist Church (Mount Gilead), director of the Mount Gilead Community Concerts Association, director of the Mount Gilead Community Choir, and president of the Stanly County Chorale. He is also active in the Montgomery Community Theatre and Uwharrie Players. He designs and installs audio, video and lighting systems, does location sound reinforcement and recording work, and enjoys photography.
