The Faith Organizing Director is responsible for developing and executing an organizing plan to engage faith communities throughout the state of Georgia, which grows the grassroots base for civic engagement and criminal justice reform. This person needs to be an energetic, self-motivated and capable of guiding strategic thinking on multiple levels, and possess a high, relational skillset to interact with clergy of multiple faiths. This role requires the capacity to work on the ground level of the organization as well as the capacity to develop a diverse staff and leadership base. Above all, the ideal candidate will have a proven commitment to social justice, thrive in a team-based atmosphere, express comfort working in a multi-racial, multi-faith environment, and have a vision for a transformed society that honors the dignity of all people.
