Judson Memorial Church, – New York, NY
One way in which we were honored to be able to participate in the march was by providing housing, which was in short supply for people coming in from out of town. Over the course of the weekend, we provided hospitality to a little over 200 people total -- student groups from a few places in Massachusetts including Hampshire College; Tulane University; Carleton College and other folks from Minnesota; and the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign (PPEHRC) including several Indigenous Elders who were part of the group that led the march. On site at Judson we had a cleaning crew as well as hospitality coordinators--people who stayed on the door overnight, cleaned the bathrooms, replenished supplies, and made coffee in the morning.
