July 12-17, 2010 – Light to Live In: The Biblical Call to Peace Rooted in Justice, BPFNA Summer Conference
A conference for peacemakers, at Keuka College, Keuka Park, NY. Leaders include Tony and Peggy Campolo, Harry Knox of the Human Rights Campaign, Pat Dutcher-Walls of the Vancouver School of Theology, Maung Maung Yin of the Myanmar (Burma) Institute of Theology, pastor and urban community builder Rachel McGuire, singer/songwriters Kim and Reggie Harris, and pastor, preacher and teacher Michael Ware.

Recently added to the schedule is "The Welcome Table", which will focus on immigrants, refugees, and those who work with them. This track will be led by Duane Binkley, who has served as a missionary to the Karen and Burma people groups in a joint appointment by the American Baptist Churches USA and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.

July 29-August 1, 2010 – Born of Wind & Water, Alliance of Baptists Convocation

Join Alliance folks from all over North America in Monterey, California for the 24th annual Alliance of Baptists Convocation, July 29 - August 1, 2010. "Born of Wind & Water" will be a time of gathering, sleeping, eating, and worshiping at the beautiful Asilomar Conference Center overlooking the Pacific Ocean by the Pacific Coast Highway.


Letter-Writing Campaign for Nemagon Victims
Visit www.bpfna.org/nemagon for information on this campaign to raise awareness of and advocate for victims of pesticide use in Nicaragua. There are sample letters and a link to a Facebook group that is growing around this issue.
