December 18, 2012 - Charlotte, NC - After almost 14 years at Wedgewood Baptist Church, the BPFNA offices are moving! Our new home will be in St. John's Baptist Church, another BPFNA Partner Congregation located in Charlotte, NC. Please make note of our new address:
300 Hawthorne Lane, Suite 205
Charlotte, NC 28204-2434

"While we are sad to leave Wedgewood, we are pleased to join St. John’s staff and congregation who have offered a warm welcome," said Program Coordinator LeDayne McLeese Polaski. "We feel the move is necessary as it will allow us to spend less on office space and more on programming. We are deeply grateful to Wedgewood, to Pastor Chris Ayers, and to the many church members who've welcomed and befriended us for well over a decade."
The Baptist Peace Fellowship will be joining several other organizations that call St. John's home, as the church is host to a wide array of groups. These include such organizations as Charlotte Family Housing, National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI), and a five-star Head Start program.
"One reason we are a Partner Congregation of the Baptist Peace Fellowship is because we believe in peace rooted in justice; in equality; in helping to give a voice to those who need to be heard; and in giving back to our local and global communities," said St. John's Senior Minister Dr. Dennis Foust. "Each of the organizations we host believes in one, several, or all of these as well. We feel the Baptist Peace Fellowship will be a perfect fit in our office community, and we are excited to strengthen and develop our partnership further."
The BPFNA office will be moving through the end of December. The new address will take effect on January 1, 2013.
