Eloy Alfaro is CEO of GlobalView Ecumenical Foundation for Social Commitment, in which role he directed the National Poetry Marathon for Peace in Ecuador. He is also a doctoral candidate in territorial rural development at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences. He has 20 years of experience in social, political, cultural, gender and socio-environmental research in Amazonian and Andean communities.
